Team

Before I introduce you to my wonderful team, let me share a bit more about myself:

Ian Chew, Founder

Despite my social anxiety, I’ve had conversations with over 10,000 people — from homeless people to top CEOs — over the last ten years.

Apart from sharing my experiences, I also share proven insights that I’ve learned from therapy and mindfulness: I’m a mindfulness teacher in training and a certified Mental Health First Aider.

(You can learn more about my other certifications here.)

Now, as much as I’m proud of my learning & growth, I realize that it’s not enough. Why?

When it comes to mental health, there’s so much misinformation, and it’s hard to know who you can really trust…

Just saying…

To ensure that you get accurate, helpful information, I’ve enlisted the help of multiple psychology professionals (two counselors, one clinical psychologist, and a medical doctor).

They do a great job at kicking my butt, so that we only publish ideas that are grounded in academic research and enriched by both clinical and personal experiences!

Illustrator

Social anxiety is often a subject that evokes embarrassment, shame, and other difficult emotions. My goal is to make social anxiety-related discussions or self-explorations easier (without trivializing the challenges we socially anxious people face!) I’m grateful to be working with Riynn to share my ideas and insights.
